We’ve been working on several new orders for some very excited customers so please do send us your pics when you receive your shiny new covers – we’d love to see them in your vans!
As it’s Good Friday, we thought we’d lift everyone’s spirits a bit in this week’s blog and round up some more good news for you all…
The Great British Camp-Out
Last weekend, thousands of people in Britain took to their campervans, tents and even their front rooms to raise money for our NHS.
Ian Alcorn from Nottinghamshire came up with the idea and he asked everyone who took part to donate just £2 to the JustGiving page. Initially he aimed to raise £100 but donations have so far exceeded a whopping £99,000!
Rainbows of hope
Children have been drawing, painting and crafting rainbows to put up in the windows of their homes. Originally started in schools, the campaign has seen now families across the country joining in. The rainbows are not just symbols of hope for key workers, they are also a great way for the children to communicate with their friends and neighbours – especially any vulnerable or elderly people who are isolating.
Couple offer campervan stays free of charge to NHS workers
A couple in Essex have offered stays in their campervan to self-isolating NHS staff, free of charge. Emily Cotgrove and Oli Arnold converted a Citroen relay panel van last year and they usually hire it out to holidaymakers and van enthusiasts via their company, Vanlife Conversions. They are now offering stays in their luxury van conversion free-of-charge to any NHS staff who need to self-isolate.

Several companies have launched online versions of their experiences, so that you can still enjoy the stuff you love from the comfort of your own home!

The Body Coach (aka Joe Wicks) has been providing free ‘P.E with Joe’ sessions on YouTube every morning so that you and your kids can get your daily exercise in!
